Make the lab your own. Manage device preferences, model assets and installation—all without accounts or paid services.

Display & performance

Standard limits pixel density to reduce GPU work. Systems load on demand.

Install your learning workspace

The app includes a web manifest and offline shell. Use your browser's Install app option on a secure HTTPS deployment. On iPhone, use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.

Browser installation becomes available on supported devices after deployment. The editor preview may not offer it.

Cached pages can work offline after visiting them. External anatomy meshes need an internet connection unless you install a local GLB.

Genuine anatomy assets

The default body and heart use BodyParts3D 3.0 STL geometry from its public converted-mesh repository. No primitive-shape human or heart is generated. Skin is a combined mesh; systems and heart landmarks are built from available source-named parts. Materials are adapted for display.

Install an alternative licensed GLB

  1. Download anatomy meshes from the linked BodyParts3D repository, with their licence and attribution.
  2. Import the chosen STL parts into Blender, keep their shared anatomical positions and export a self-contained GLB. For a full body include skin FMA7163; name it “skin”.
  3. For the heart, preserve separate source structures and use exact English mesh names: “right atrium”, “left atrium”, “right ventricle”, “left ventricle”, “ascending aorta”, “arch of aorta”, “pulmonary trunk”, “superior vena cava” and “inferior vena cava”, only where genuinely represented.
  4. Upload human-anatomy.glb or heart-anatomy.glb below. It is stored privately on this device in IndexedDB and overrides the remote specimen.

Only exact recognised source names can participate in the practical. A single combined heart mesh cannot support individual chamber identification. A filename or mesh name alone does not verify the accuracy of a third-party asset.

Input & future glove support

Mouse and touch are the primary controls. The lab includes a separate Glove Demo Mode with manually simulated finger-bend readings and orientation. It does not measure physical touch, pressure or sensor data.

A modular input adapter is ready for future calibrated hardware. Experimental MediaPipe webcam tracking is not included in this version; no camera permission is requested.

Privacy & education

Quiz results, completed practicals, preferences and recent structures use local browser storage. Uploaded GLBs use IndexedDB. Clearing browser data removes these records. No account, paid API or database is used.

This platform supports learning but does not replace supervised medical training. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment planning or assessment of clinical competence.
